This weekend my mom and I went with our junior high youth group from church on a reward trip to Wild Adventures! We were super excited...until we found out that the high that day was 54 degrees. We still had a great time, but we were sure to pack things to bundle up in! If I am right, I think it was only 40 something degrees when we got there and it got colder as the day went on! We ended up having a blast!!!
As many of you know I am nuts about llamas! I can't really explain why but I just think that they are really awesome! One night before the trip I was sitting in my mom and dads room looking at the website for Wild Adventures and I went to look at what animals they had there. As soon as I saw the llamas I screamed and started freaking out. All my parents could do was laugh because they still don't know why their daughter is in love with llamas. Anyway, when we got there I expected to just be able to see them in a safari type thing. But really, there was a baby one in the petting zoo! I was able to hang out with it for about 10 minutes! I pet it, hugged it, fed it, ran around with it, and did everything with it! Some people from our church even said I was hogging the llama! His name was Jelly Bean and he was really awesome!!!
Even though it was cold, we still had a great time! Here are some pics:
Here is a cute little bird which didn't really like abby :)
Abby and I being an owl and an elephant!
The birds liked Hannah, but Hannah just didn't like the birds!
Same with me I guess!
